Church License Agreement
Effective Date: August 19, 2026
This Church License Agreement governs participation by churches and other approved ministry organizations in The Patriarchs Huddle Church Partnership Program.
By purchasing, activating, or renewing a Church License, the purchasing church or organization (“Church”) agrees to these terms.
1. Purpose
The Patriarchs Huddle provides Christian discipleship resources, training, community, and support designed particularly to equip fathers and grandfathers to become intentional disciple makers within their families and communities.
A Church License allows an approved church to make The Patriarchs Huddle available to a specified number of participants under one church account.
2. License Term
Unless otherwise stated at purchase, a Church License is provided for a one-year term beginning on the date of purchase or activation.
The applicable price, number of seats, renewal date, and other purchase details are those shown at checkout or within the Church Portal.
The Church License is provided to the purchasing Church and may not be transferred or resold to another church or organization without written permission from The Patriarchs Huddle.
3. Membership Seats
The Church may invite participants up to the number of seats included in its purchased license.
Church administrators are responsible for managing their participant roster and ensuring invitations are provided to appropriate individuals associated with their ministry.
A participant’s access may be removed or reassigned in accordance with the functionality and policies of the Church Portal.
Additional seats or a higher license level may require an upgrade.
4. Church Administrator
The Church will designate one or more authorized individuals, where permitted, to administer its account.
Church administrators may be able to:
- invite and remove participants;
- assign approved participant roles;
- manage available membership seats;
- view membership information associated with their Church;
- access reports and administrative tools; and
- manage other Church-specific settings made available through the Portal.
The Church is responsible for the actions of its authorized administrators and for promptly removing administrative access when an individual is no longer authorized to represent the Church.
5. Participant Information and Privacy
The Church and The Patriarchs Huddle each have responsibilities concerning personal information they collect or control.
The Church agrees to use participant information available through the Church Portal only for legitimate ministry and administrative purposes related to its participation in The Patriarchs Huddle.
The Church should not sell, improperly disclose, or use participant information for unrelated purposes.
The Patriarchs Huddle will handle personal information according to its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
6. Use of Patriarchs Huddle Materials
An active Church License gives the Church permission to use Patriarchs Huddle resources made available for church-license use with participants covered by its license.
Unless specifically identified as reproducible or shareable, Patriarchs Huddle materials may not be:
- resold;
- publicly republished;
- uploaded to another membership or training platform;
- substantially reproduced for distribution outside the licensed Church; or
- commercially exploited without written permission.
The Church may promote The Patriarchs Huddle internally and encourage eligible men to participate.
All ownership rights in Patriarchs Huddle branding, courses, videos, written materials, training resources, and other original content remain with The Patriarchs Huddle or their respective owners.
7. Community Conduct
Church participants remain subject to The Patriarchs Huddle Terms of Use and community standards.
The Patriarchs Huddle reserves the right to moderate its community and, when reasonably necessary, suspend or remove an individual whose conduct seriously or repeatedly violates community standards or threatens the safety, integrity, or operation of the community.
Where practical, we will work with the Church administrator when a significant participant issue arises.
8. Fees, Renewal and Cancellation
Fees are those displayed and accepted at the time of purchase.
Unless the checkout terms specifically provide for automatic renewal, renewal requires the Church to purchase or authorize another license term.
If automatic renewal is offered and selected, the renewal and cancellation terms presented at purchase will apply.
Amounts already paid are non-refundable except where otherwise stated at purchase or required by applicable law.
Failure to renew may result in loss of Church Portal access and termination of Church-sponsored participant access.
9. Technology and Third-Party Platforms
The Patriarchs Huddle uses third-party technology providers to deliver portions of the program, including community, payment, email, website, hosting, and automation services.
We will make reasonable efforts to maintain access but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of third-party services.
Features or technology may change as the program develops.
10. Ministry and Educational Nature
The Patriarchs Huddle provides Christian ministry, discipleship, training, and educational resources.
Participation does not guarantee particular ministry, spiritual, relational, attendance, membership, or financial results.
Each Church remains responsible for its own pastoral leadership, ministry decisions, safeguarding practices, supervision, and compliance with applicable laws and denominational or organizational requirements.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Patriarchs Huddle and its operators, leaders, volunteers, contractors, and affiliated ministry organizations will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from participation in the program or inability to access it.
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
12. Termination
The Patriarchs Huddle may suspend or terminate a Church License for material breach of this Agreement, misuse of membership access or resources, unlawful activity, or conduct that materially harms the ministry or community.
Where reasonably appropriate, the Church will first be given an opportunity to correct the issue.
13. Changes
The Patriarchs Huddle may reasonably update this Agreement as the program develops.
Material changes affecting an existing paid license will be communicated where appropriate. Changes to pricing or material license terms would normally apply at renewal rather than retroactively during a prepaid annual term, unless required by law or agreed with the Church.
14. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.
15. Entire Agreement
This Agreement, together with the applicable purchase terms, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy, represents the agreement governing the Church’s participation in The Patriarchs Huddle Church Partnership Program.
